How It Works
Sermorelin binds to GHRH receptors in the pituitary gland, activating the pulsatile secretion of growth hormone and increasing IGF-1 levels.
Quick Start
- Typical dose: 200–300mcg subcutaneously, before bedtime
- Frequency: Daily or 5 days/week
- Storage: 2–8°C after reconstitution, use within 28 days
Dosing Table — Sermorelin 10mg
Route: Subcutaneous injection | Frequency: Daily, before bedtime
| Week | Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | 200mcg | 8 Units (0.08 mL) |
| 3–4 | 250mcg | 10 Units (0.10 mL) |
| 5+ | 300mcg | 12 Units (0.12 mL) |
Studies report administration before bedtime on an empty stomach. The 10mg vial provides ~33 doses of 300mcg.

Reconstitution Steps
- Clean the stoppers with an alcohol swab.
- Draw up 4mL of bacteriostatic water.
- Inject slowly down the side of the vial — do not shake.
- Gently swirl until fully dissolved.
- Store in the refrigerator (2–8°C).
Protocol Overview
- Sermorelin mimics the action of natural GHRH, stimulating the pituitary gland.
- It maintains the natural negative feedback mechanism.
- The 10mg vial is more cost-effective for long-term protocols.
Dosing Protocol
- Start with 200mcg/day and gradually increase to 300mcg.
- Administer before bedtime on an empty stomach.
- Cycle: 3–6 months on, 1 month off.
- Break between cycles: After a cycle (3–6 months), a washout period of 4–8 weeks is recommended. This break prevents tolerance to the GHRH receptor.
Washout & Cycle Restart
When can I restart?
After a cycle (3–6 months), a washout period of 4–8 weeks is recommended. This break prevents tolerance to the GHRH receptor.
Minimum wait period: 4 weeks
Storage Instructions
- Lyophilized powder: room temperature or refrigerator.
- Reconstituted solution: 2–8°C, use within 28 days.
- Do not freeze after reconstitution.
Important Notes
- Avoid food for 2 hours before administration.
- Consult a physician before use.
Potential Benefits & Side Effects
Potential Benefits:
- Increased natural GH production
- Improved sleep quality
- Enhanced muscle growth
- Reduced body fat
Potential Side Effects:
- Injection site irritation
- Transient headache
- Flushing
⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks
The following warnings are based on published literature, FDA labels, and post-marketing surveillance. They do not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional.
Theoretical risk (IGF-1 elevation)
As a GHRH analogue, increases GH/IGF-1. Same theoretical concern as exogenous GH, but to a lesser degree due to physiological regulation.
