How It Works
Tα1 enhances the maturation of T-lymphocytes in the thymus gland. It increases CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, activates NK cells and dendritic cells, and regulates cytokines for a balanced immune response.
Quick Start
- Reconstitution: Add 2.0 mL of bacteriostatic water → 5 mg/mL.
- Typical Dose: 1.6 mg twice weekly (Zadaxin® dose).
- Easy Dosing: At 5 mg/mL, 1 unit = 50 mcg.
- Storage: −20 °C / 2–8 °C after reconstitution.

Reconstitution Steps
- Draw 2.0 mL of bacteriostatic water.
- Inject slowly down the side of the vial.
- Gently swirl.
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C.
Protocol Overview
- Goal: Enhance cellular immunity, immunomodulation.
- Schedule: 1.6 mg 2×/week for 4–12 weeks.
Dosing Protocol
- Dose: 1.6 mg × 2/week.
- Cycle: 4–12 weeks.
- One 10 mg vial covers 6 doses (3 weeks).
- Break between cycles: After the cycle, a 4–8 week pause is recommended. Thymosin Alpha-1 regulates the immune system—the pause prevents overstimulation.
Washout & Cycle Restart
When can I restart?

Minimum wait period: 4 weeks
Storage Instructions
- Lyophilized: −20 °C.
- Reconstituted: 2–8 °C · use within 3 weeks.
Important Notes
- Maintain consistent intervals between doses.
- Use sterile technique.

⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks
The following warnings are based on published literature, FDA labels, and post-marketing surveillance. They do not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional.
Immunostimulation — risk in autoimmune conditions
Tα1 enhances cellular immunity (CD4+, CD8+, NK). Theoretical risk of autoimmune flare (MS, RA, Lupus). Contraindicated in active autoimmune disease.
