    How It Works

Snap-8 inhibits the binding of SNAP-25 to the SNARE complex, reducing neurotransmitter exocytosis at the neuromuscular junction and relaxing expression muscles.

    Quick Start

    • Typical use: 3–10% in serum or topical injection
    • Frequency: 2x/day topically or 1x/2 weeks mesotherapy
    • Storage: 2–8°C after reconstitution

    Reconstitution Steps

    1. Clean the stoppers with an alcohol wipe.
    2. Draw 2.5mL of bacteriostatic water.
    3. Inject slowly against the wall of the vial.
    4. Gently swirl until fully dissolved.
    5. Store in the refrigerator (2–8°C).

    Protocol Overview

    • Snap-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) inhibits SNARE formation.
    • Reduces neuromuscular contraction that causes expression wrinkles.
    • Non-toxic, peptide alternative to Botox.

    Dosing Protocol

    • Topical: apply 3–10% serum to wrinkles, 2x/day.
    • Mesotherapy: 2mg intradermally every 2 weeks.
    • Subcutaneous: 250–500mcg locally in wrinkle areas.
    • Combines excellently with GHK-Cu for skin regeneration.
    • Break between cycles: Topical use of Snap-8 can be continuous. For mesotherapy, pause for 2–4 weeks between cycles.

    Washout & Cycle Restart

    When can I restart?

Topical use of Snap-8 can be continuous. For mesotherapy, pause for 2–4 weeks between cycles.

    Minimum wait period: 2 weeks

    Storage Instructions

    • Reconstituted: 2–8°C, use within 30 days.
    • Powder: -20°C.

    Important Notes

    • Exclusively for cosmetic use.
    • No systemic action — acts locally.
    • Safe and non-toxic.

    Potential Benefits & Side Effects

    Potential Benefits:

    • Reduction of expression wrinkles (forehead, eyes)
    • SNARE complex inhibition
    • Non-toxic Botox alternative
    • Improved skin texture
    • Combination with GHK-Cu for maximum results

    Potential Side Effects:

    • Mild redness (rare, topical application)
    • No significant side effects with topical use
    • Mesotherapy: mild edema for 24–48 hours

    ⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks

The following warnings are based on published literature, FDA labels, and post-marketing surveillance. They do not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional.

    🧠 Neurological
    🟡 Moderate / Theoretical

SNARE inhibition — theoretical neuromuscular risk

SNAP-8 mimics botulinum toxin (inhibits SNARE complex). Systemic use could theoretically affect neuromuscular junction. Topical use is considered safer.
