How It Works
Snap-8 inhibits the binding of SNAP-25 to the SNARE complex, reducing neurotransmitter exocytosis at the neuromuscular junction and relaxing expression muscles.
Quick Start
- Reconstitution: Add 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 10 mg/mL.
- Typical use: 3–10% in serum or 2 mg intradermally for mesotherapy.
- Frequency: 2×/day topically or 1×/2 weeks for mesotherapy.
- Storage: 2–8 °C after reconstitution.
Dosing Table — Snap-8 10mg
Route: Topical / Mesotherapy / Subcutaneous | Frequency: 2× daily (topically)
| Week | Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| Topical | 3–10% | In serum/cream |
| Mesotherapy | 2 mg | 20 Units (0.20 mL) |
| Subcutaneous | 250–500 mcg | 2.5–5 Units (0.03–0.05 mL) |
Topical use 2×/day. Mesotherapy every 2 weeks. Results in 2–4 weeks.

Reconstitution Steps
- Clean the stoppers with an alcohol swab.
- Draw 1.0 mL of bacteriostatic water.
- Slowly inject against the side of the vial.
- Gently swirl until fully dissolved.
- Store in the refrigerator (2–8 °C).
Protocol Overview
- Snap-8 inhibits SNARE complex formation.
- It reduces the neuromuscular contraction that causes expression wrinkles.
- A non-toxic, peptide alternative to Botox.
Dosing Protocol
- Topical: apply 3–10% serum to wrinkles, 2×/day.
- Mesotherapy: 2 mg intradermally every 2 weeks.
- Subcutaneous: 250–500 mcg locally to wrinkle areas.
- Combines excellently with GHK-Cu for skin regeneration.
- Break between cycles: Topical use of Snap-8 can be continuous. For mesotherapy, pause for 2–4 weeks between cycles.
Washout & Cycle Restart
When can I restart?
Topical use of Snap-8 can be continuous. For mesotherapy, pause for 2–4 weeks between cycles.
Minimum wait period: 2 weeks
Storage Instructions
- Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, use within 30 days.
- Powder: −20 °C.
Important Notes
- Exclusively for cosmetic use.
- Has no systemic action — acts locally.
- Safe and non-toxic.
Potential Benefits & Side Effects
Potential Benefits:
- Reduction of expression wrinkles (forehead, eyes).
- Inhibition of the SNARE complex.
- Non-toxic Botox alternative.
- Improvement of skin texture.
Potential Side Effects:
- Mild redness (rare, topical application).
- No significant side effects with topical use.
- Mesotherapy: mild edema for 24–48 hours.
⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks
The following warnings are based on published literature, FDA labels, and post-marketing surveillance. They do not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional.
SNARE inhibition — theoretical neuromuscular risk
SNAP-8 mimics botulinum toxin (inhibits SNARE complex). Systemic use could theoretically affect neuromuscular junction. Topical use is considered safer.
