    How It Works

A dual GLP-1/glucagon agonist. GLP-1 reduces appetite and enhances insulin secretion, while glucagon increases energy expenditure through thermogenesis and hepatic lipolysis.

    Quick Start

    • Reconstitution: Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 5.0 mg/mL.
    • Weekly Range: 3–9 mg once weekly.
    • Easy Dosing: At 5.0 mg/mL, 1 unit = 50 mcg.
    • Storage: −20 °C / 2–8 °C after reconstitution.

Studies report administration once weekly. One 10 mg vial is sufficient for ~1 week at 9 mg/wk.

    Reconstitution Steps

    1. Withdraw 2.0 mL of bacteriostatic water.
    2. Inject slowly down the side of the vial.
    3. Swirl gently until dissolved.
    4. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C.

    Protocol Overview

    • Goal: Weight management and glycemic control via GLP-1/glucagon agonism.
    • Advantage: Fewer vials at maintenance doses.

    Dosing Protocol

    • Initiation: 3 mg/wk × 4 weeks.
    • Titration: 4.5→6→9 mg every 4 weeks.
    • Maintenance: 6–9 mg/wk.
    • Break between cycles: After a cycle, a washout period of 4–8 weeks is recommended. Mazdutide has a long half-life—this pause allows for metabolic recovery.

    Washout & Cycle Restart

    When can I restart?

After a cycle, a washout period of 4–8 weeks is recommended. Mazdutide has a long half-life—this pause allows for metabolic recovery.

    Minimum wait period: 4 weeks

    Storage Instructions

    • Lyophilized: −20 °C.
    • Reconstituted: 2–8 °C; use within 28 days.

    Important Notes

    • Start with a gradual titration from 3 mg.
    • Monitor for GI side effects.
