    How It Works

GHRP-6 binds to the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) in pituitary somatotroph cells, triggering a potent pulsatile release of GH through G-protein and phospholipase C activation. Unlike exogenous GH, it maintains the physiological hypothalamic-pituitary feedback without somatostatin suppression. Studies show it can restore GH response even in obese individuals with blunted secretion, producing GH peaks approximately double that of GHRH alone. The half-life is ~20 minutes, necessitating multiple daily administrations.

    Quick Start

    • Reconstitution: Add 2.5 mL bacteriostatic water → 2.0 mg/mL concentration.
    • Typical dose range: 100–300 mcg per injection, three times daily.
    • Storage: Lyophilized: freezer −20 °C; post-reconstitution, refrigerator 2–8 °C; avoid freeze-thaw.

Studies report administration three times daily subcutaneously (Morning, Afternoon, Before bed) to mimic natural pulsatile GH release. At least 3–4 hours apart. On an empty stomach (30+ minutes before eating).

    Reconstitution Steps

    1. Draw up 2.5 mL of bacteriostatic water.
    2. Slowly inject against the vial wall; avoid foaming.
    3. Gently swirl/rotate until dissolved (do not shake).
    4. Label and refrigerate at 2–8 °C.

    Protocol Overview

    • Objective: Stimulate natural pulsatile GH release to increase IGF-1, muscle growth, and recovery.
    • Schedule: 3 subcutaneous injections daily for 8–12 weeks.
    • Storage: Lyophilized frozen; reconstituted refrigerated for up to 28 days.

    Dosing Protocol

    • Standard: 100 mcg TID (300 mcg/day) — documented for a significant GH/IGF-1 increase.
    • Moderate: 150 mcg TID (450 mcg/day) for an enhanced response.
    • Advanced: 200–300 mcg TID (600–900 mcg/day) — upper practical limit.
    • Timing: Morning, Afternoon, Before bed; 3–4 hours apart; ideally on an empty stomach.
    • Cycle Duration: 8–12 weeks; consider a 1–2 week break after 3 months.
    • Break between cycles: After the cycle, a break of 4–6 weeks is recommended. The break restores hormonal balance and GHSR sensitivity.

    Washout & Cycle Restart

    When can I restart?

After the cycle, a break of 4–6 weeks is recommended. The break restores hormonal balance and GHSR sensitivity.

    Minimum wait period: 4 weeks

    Storage Instructions

    • Lyophilized: Store at −20 °C for long-term; 2–8 °C is acceptable for weeks.
    • Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8 °C; use within 28 days with bacteriostatic water.
    • Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening.

    Important Notes

    • GHRP-6 typically causes intense appetite within 20–30 minutes post-injection.

    Potential Benefits & Side Effects

    Potential Benefits:

    • Increased GH/IGF-1: Sustained increases supporting anabolic processes and body composition.
    • Muscle and recovery: Enhances lean muscle mass, strength, and tissue repair via IGF-1.
    • Appetite stimulation: Potent hunger effect via ghrelin mimicry; useful for cachexia.
    • Sleep regulation: Studies indicate increased duration of stage 2 sleep without significant REM disruption.
    • Generally well-tolerated; no serious adverse events at moderate doses.

    Potential Side Effects:

    • Transient increase in ACTH and cortisol (typically clinically insignificant).
    • Occasional mild injection site reactions.

    ⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks
