    How It Works

CJC-1295 DAC is a modified 30-amino acid GHRH analog conjugated with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) that covalently binds to serum albumin after injection. This albumin binding dramatically extends its half-life from minutes to approximately 6–8 days, enabling weekly dosing. It binds to GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs, enhancing GH synthesis and pulsatile release. Importantly, it elevates basal GH levels while preserving the natural GH pulse rhythm. Clinical trials show sustained GH increases of 2–10 fold and IGF-1 increases of 1.5–3 fold, with elevated IGF-1 persisting for up to 28 days after multiple doses.

    Quick Start

    • Reconstitution: Add 1.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 2.0 mg/mL (2,000 mcg/mL) concentration.
    • Typical weekly dose: 2,000 mcg (2 mg) once weekly — the entire vial per injection.
    • Storage: Lyophilized: freezer at −20 °C; after reconstitution, refrigerator at 2–8 °C; avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Studies report administration once weekly subcutaneously, preferably in the evening before bed to align with natural nocturnal GH secretions. The extended half-life (~6–8 days) supports weekly administration without significant loss of activity between doses.

    Reconstitution Steps

    1. Withdraw 1.0 mL of bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe.
    2. Inject slowly down the wall of the vial; avoid foaming.
    3. Gently swirl/rotate until dissolved (do not shake vigorously).
    4. Note the date of reconstitution and refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protected from light.

    Protocol Overview

    • Objective: Increase endogenous GH and IGF-1 levels to support muscle growth, fat metabolism, recovery, and anti-aging research.
    • Schedule: Weekly subcutaneous injections for 8–12 weeks.
    • Dose: 2,000 mcg (2 mg) once weekly — one full vial per injection.
    • Storage: Lyophilized frozen; reconstituted refrigerated; avoid repeated freeze-thaw.

    Dosing Protocol

    • Standard Dose: 2,000 mcg (2 mg) once weekly.
    • Conservative Option: 1,000 mcg (1 mg) weekly if exploring lower doses.
    • Frequency: Once per week (subcutaneously).
    • Cycle Duration: 8–12 weeks; optional 4-week break between cycles.
    • Break between cycles: A pause of 4–8 weeks is recommended post-cycle. CJC-1295 DAC has a prolonged half-life (6–8 days)—the pause allows for restoration of the GHRH axis.

    Washout & Cycle Restart

    When can I restart?

A pause of 4–8 weeks is recommended post-cycle. CJC-1295 DAC has a prolonged half-life (6–8 days)—the pause allows for restoration of the GHRH axis.

    Minimum wait period: 4 weeks

    Storage Instructions

    • Lyophilized: Store at −20 °C in dry, dark conditions.
    • Reconstituted: Refrigerate at 2–8 °C; use within 4 weeks; avoid freeze-thaw.
    • Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening.

    Important Notes

    • Inject on an empty stomach (at least 2 hours post-meal) as elevated glucose can blunt GH release.

    Potential Benefits & Side Effects

    Potential Benefits:

    • Sustained increase in GH and IGF-1 levels, supporting muscle growth, recovery, and lean body composition.
    • Enhanced fat metabolism and potential reduction in visceral adipose tissue.
    • Improved sleep quality — GHRH analogs can have somnogenic effects, increasing deep slow-wave sleep.
    • Preserves natural GH pulsatility, unlike exogenous GH administration.

    Potential Side Effects:

    • Flushing / sensation of warmth (common, transient).
    • Headache (transient).
    • Fluid retention (mild edema, especially initially).
    • Injection site reactions (redness, sensitivity).
    • Numbness/tingling (rare, GH-related).

    ⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks

The following warnings are based on published literature, FDA labels, and post-marketing surveillance. They do not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional.

    🎗️ Cancer Markers
    🟡 Moderate / Theoretical

    Theoretical risk (prolonged GH elevation)

The DAC variant provides continuous GH elevation for 7–10 days. Theoretical concern for IGF-1-related oncogenesis.

    🟡 Moderate / Theoretical

    Fluid retention & edema

Prolonged GH elevation can cause fluid retention, arthralgia, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
