GHK-Cu + Epithalon (50mg + 10mg)
Anti-aging stack for tissue regeneration + telomere support: GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide) activates 4,000+ genes related to tissue regeneration, collagen synthesis, and antioxidant defense, while Epithalon (AEDG) activates telomerase (hTERT) for telomere lengthening. The combination targets: cellular renewal + telomeric maintenance.

How It Works
**GHK-Cu** activates a large network of genes via cell signaling: it increases collagen (I, III), decorin, elastin, FGF, VEGF, TGF-β, SOD, and antioxidant enzymes, while suppressing NFκB, TNF-α, IL-6, and MMPs (metalloproteinases). **Epithalon** activates the transcription of hTERT (telomerase), which adds TTAGGG repeats to telomeres, increasing cellular division potential (Hayflick limit).
Quick Start
- GHK-Cu: 1–2 mg SC, 1x/day (morning)
- Epithalon: 5 mg SC, 1x/day (evening) × 10–20 days
- Cycle: 4–6 weeks, 2x/year
- Storage: Refrigerator 2–8°C after reconstitution
Dosing Table — GHK-Cu + Epithalon Stack
Route: Subcutaneous (SC) | Frequency: See per peptide
| Week | Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | 1mg GHK-Cu daily / 5mg Epithalon daily | 5 Units (0.05 mL) |
| 3–4 | 2mg GHK-Cu daily / 5mg Epithalon daily | 10 Units (0.10 mL) |
| 5–6 | 2mg GHK-Cu daily / — | 10 Units (0.10 mL) |
GHK-Cu: daily in the morning. Epithalon: daily in the evening before sleep × 10–20 days. GHK-Cu can be continued after the Epithalon course is complete.

Dilution Selection
Peptides come in 3 mL, 5 mL or 10 mL vials. If your vial is smaller, the water amount adjusts automatically.
GHK-Cu (50 mg)
Epithalon (10 mg)
⚠️ Units change depending on BAC water — always verify before administration. Based on
- GHK-Cu (50 mg): Add 2.5 mL BAC water → 20 mg/mL.
- Epithalon (10 mg): Add 2.0 mL BAC water → 5 mg/mL.
- Swirl gently. Use separate syringes.
Protocol Overview
- GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine:copper) is a naturally occurring copper tripeptide in human plasma. It declines dramatically with age (200 ng/mL at 20 → 80 ng/mL at 60).
- Epithalon (AEDG tetrapeptide) was developed by Khavinson. It activates hTERT gene expression.
- The combination: tissue regeneration (GHK-Cu) + telomere lengthening (Epithalon) = multi-pathway anti-aging.
Dosing Protocol
- GHK-Cu: 1–2 mg SC, 1x/day, morning. Titration: 1mg wk.1–2, 2mg wk.3+.
- Epithalon: 5 mg SC, 1x/day, evening before sleep × 10–20 days.
- Cycle: 4–6 weeks, 2 times/year (every 6 months).
- GHK-Cu can also be used topically (cream) concurrently.
- Break between cycles: 6 months between cycles. Epithalon is administered only 2x/year.
Washout & Cycle Restart
When can I restart?
6 months between cycles. Epithalon is administered only 2x/year.
Minimum wait period: 24 weeks
Storage Instructions
- Lyophilized: −20 °C (12–24 months).
- Reconstituted: 2–8 °C, use within 4 weeks.
- GHK-Cu may change color (blue-green) — this is normal due to the copper.
Important Notes
- GHK-Cu regulates 4,000+ genes — upregulating antioxidants and downregulating inflammatory ones.
- Epithalon does not increase cancer risk — it only acts on normal cells (Khavinson 2003).
- Do not administer GHK-Cu with copper chelators.
- Bloodwork: telomeres (TeloYears/Life Length) + free copper before/after.
Potential Benefits & Side Effects
Potential Benefits:
- Collagen and elastin synthesis (skin/joints)
- Telomere lengthening (biological age)
- Potent antioxidant action (SOD, glutathione)
- Anti-inflammatory action (NFκB suppression)
- Accelerated wound healing
- Circadian rhythm regulation (melatonin/Epithalon)
Potential Side Effects:
- GHK-Cu: blue-green discoloration at the injection site (transient)
- Epithalon: rare local redness
- GHK-Cu: rare mild nausea at high doses (>3mg)
- No serious adverse events reported
⚠️ Serious Warnings & Long-Term Risks
The following warnings are based on published literature, FDA labels, and post-marketing surveillance. They do not constitute medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional.
Telomerase & oncogenesis — conflicting data
Epithalon activates telomerase (hTERT). While it appeared anti-cancer in animal models, telomerase activation is considered a hallmark of cancer. No long-term human studies exist.
📄 Bull Exp Biol Med 2003; Khavinson VKAngiogenesis & tissue remodeling
GHK-Cu promotes angiogenesis, tissue regeneration, and increases collagen/elastin. Theoretical concern for enhancing existing tumors, though no clinical signal exists.
