How It Works
PE-22-28 activates the GalR2 receptor in the brain, promoting neurogenesis in the hippocampus and modulating GABA/glutamate signaling pathways. This provides an anxiolytic effect without sedation.
Quick Start
- Typical Dose: 200–500mcg intranasally or subcutaneously
- Frequency: 1–2x/day
- Storage: 2–8°C after reconstitution
Dosing Table — PE-22-28 10mg
Route: Intranasal or subcutaneous | Frequency: 1–2x daily
| Week | Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | 200mcg | 4 Units (0.04 mL) |
| 3–4 | 300mcg | 6 Units (0.06 mL) |
| 5+ | 500mcg | 10 Units (0.10 mL) |
The intranasal route provides faster action on the CNS. Administer in the morning and/or midday.

Reconstitution Steps
- Clean the vial stoppers with an alcohol wipe.
- Draw up 2mL of bacteriostatic water.
- Slowly inject down the side of the vial.
- Gently swirl until fully dissolved.
- Store in the refrigerator (2–8°C).
Protocol Overview
- PE-22-28 is a Galanin Receptor 2 (GalR2) agonist.
- It acts as an anxiolytic/antidepressant without sedation.
- Early research data — no human clinical trials exist.
Dosing Protocol
- Start low (200mcg) and titrate up gradually.
- Intranasally: 1–2 sprays, 1–2x/day.
- Subcutaneously: 200–500mcg.
- Cycle: 4–8 weeks on, 2–4 weeks off.
- Break between cycles: After a cycle (4–8 weeks), a break of 2–4 weeks is recommended. This break prevents tolerance to the GalR2 receptor.
Washout & Cycle Restart
When can I restart?
After a cycle (4–8 weeks), a break of 2–4 weeks is recommended. This break prevents tolerance to the GalR2 receptor.
Minimum wait period: 2 weeks
Storage Instructions
- Reconstituted: 2–8°C, use within 21 days.
- Powder: 2–8°C or -20°C.
Important Notes
- Research peptide — limited human data available.
- Do not combine with benzodiazepines without medical guidance.
- Monitor mood and energy levels.
