Chonluten (20mg)
Chonluten is a short bioregulatory tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Gly) studied for respiratory health and bronchopulmonary tissue support. Research suggests it may reduce chronic inflammation, support bronchial epithelium repair, and normalize antioxidant gene expression in lung tissue. This protocol outlines a once-daily subcutaneous approach.

How It Works
Chonluten (EDG tripeptide) acts via epigenetic mechanisms, binding to DNA/histone regions and altering the expression of genes involved in cellular stress response and inflammation. In lung tissue models, Chonluten upregulates cytoprotective proteins (c-Fos, HSP70, SOD) while downregulating inflammatory genes (COX-2, TNF-α). In immune cell experiments, it modulated the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-17), inducing a state of TNF tolerance and preventing excessive inflammatory reactions.
Quick Start
- Reconstitution: Add 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 6.67 mg/mL concentration.
- Typical Daily Range: 250–2,000 mcg once daily (gradual titration over 8–12 weeks).
- Storage: Lyophilized: freezer −20 °C; post-reconstitution, refrigerator 2–8 °C; avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Typical / Gradual Approach (3 mL = ~6.67 mg/mL)
Route: Subcutaneous | Frequency: Once daily
| Week | Dose | Units (per injection) |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1–2 | 250 mcg | 3.8 Units (0.04 mL) |
| Weeks 3–4 | 500 mcg | 7.5 Units (0.07 mL) |
| Weeks 5–6 | 750 mcg | 11.2 Units (0.11 mL) |
| Weeks 7–8 | 1,000 mcg (1 mg) | 15 Units (0.15 mL) |
Studies report administration once daily subcutaneously at a consistent time.

Reconstitution Steps
- Draw up 3.0 mL of bacteriostatic water.
- Slowly inject onto the vial wall; avoid foaming.
- Gently swirl/rotate until dissolved.
- Label and refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protecting from light.
Protocol Overview
- Objective: Support bronchopulmonary tissue repair and reduce chronic inflammation.
- Schedule: Daily subcutaneous injections for 8–12 weeks (extendable to 16 for advanced protocols).
- Storage: Lyophilized frozen; reconstituted refrigerated.
Dosing Protocol
- Initiation: 250 mcg daily; increase by ~250–500 mcg every 2 weeks.
- Target: 1,000–2,000 mcg daily by weeks 7–12.
- Advanced: 3,000–4,000 mcg daily (Wks 13–16) if tolerated.
- Frequency: Once daily (subcutaneous).
- Cycle Duration: 8–12 weeks typical; extendable to 16.
- Break between cycles: After the cycle (10–20 days), a pause of 3–6 months is recommended. Khavinson bioregulator peptides have prolonged effects — typically 2–3 cycles/year.
Washout & Cycle Restart
When can I restart?

Potential Benefits & Side Effects
Potential Benefits:
- Supports bronchial epithelium regeneration and reduction of chronic inflammation markers.
- May improve exercise tolerance and pulmonary function alongside standard therapies.
- Downregulates pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6), reducing tissue-destructive inflammation.
- Potential geroprotective effects on respiratory function.
- Generally well-tolerated; mild injection site reactions are possible.
Potential Side Effects:
- Mild injection site reactions (redness, itching).
- Transient fatigue or 'flu-like' feeling (rare).
- Limited human data (Khavinson bioregulator peptide).
